Are you a freelance writer?
Nailz in Bloom is looking for 1-2 freelance writers to join the team. Please view the blog in depth (sub-categories) before submitting but the main pillars of content covered on the blog include:
- Nails (holidays, designs, colors, etc)
- Nail Reviews (products + tools)
- Conducting interviews for our Bloom Interviews (We focus on BIPOC nail artists)
If you light up at the thought of creating original, SEO-driven content around mindset, productivity, recipes, reviews, fitness tips, and routines, then you should definitely apply today.
Requirements
- Access to SEO software to ensure you are writing with a keyword and related keywords in mind.
- A passion behind the values and mission of the Nailz in Bloom brand. We want writers who believe in the business of organically reaching BIPOC women and who are passionate about nails and/or the nail industry.
- Writing a minimum, of 1 blog post per month.
- Source and cite original high-quality photos.
- Be acclimated to utilizing the backend of WordPress to draft blog post pitches for Kabrena and the team.
- Take the initiative to finish your blog posts in a timely manner without reminders by the KBIB team.
- Have access to reliable wifi and a laptop.
- Checks for grammar and/or runs their writing through Grammarly.
Qualifications
- Technical writing skills, proficient in English grammar and language.
- Someone who is capable of creating polarizing, clickable content with eye-catching titles, photos, and meta descriptions.
- Knowledge of SEO research; the steps to building each blog post that is well optimized.
- Thoroughness in accomplishing each task to completing a blog post.
- Citing your photos and giving credit to the creator or artist is a MUST.
- An understanding of how to plan and divide your time between your assigned blog posts.
